Follow the steps

  1. Uninstall QuickBooks Software
  2. Find the files at:
    1. C:\Users\(current user)\AppData\Local\Intuit\QuickBooks (year)
    2. C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks (year)
  3. Rename the file and you will get the error “Access Denied.”
  4. Right-click and select the taskbar.
  5. Select process tab.
  6. Now, select the files QBDBMgr.exe, Qbw32.exe, QBDBMgrN.exe and QBCFMonitorService.exe.
  7. Click on End Process.

QuickBooks 2014 Sync Manager Error: Error occurs due to damaged or missing program files.

  1. Rename Sync Manager folder to fix the issue
  2. Close QuickBooks and Sync Manager
  3. Now, rename Sync Manager to SyncManager.old.
  4. Open QuickBooks and Sync Manager once again.
