QuickBooks Could Not Load the License Data

QuickBooks error 3371 is a frequent QuickBooks Error experienced by QuickBooks users normally. It usually appears when you upgrade QuickBooks or recently re-installed a copy.

When you open QuickBooks after installation, it will show you error 3371, status code -11118. Along with the following message that “QuickBooks could not load the license data”.

You can also get a message saying “QuickBooks has encountered a problem on startup. This may be due to an invalid software license.”

After showing this message the reason is that QuickBooks cannot load your license data is possibly that the file which is responsible to verify you’re licensing information has gone corrupt.

How to Fix QuickBooks Error 3371

Fixing of QuickBooks Error 3371 is absolutely simple. One should be able to resolve it simply by following steps given below:

  1. Close QuickBooks
  2. Go to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Entitlement Client\v8
  3. Delete Entitlementdatastore.ecml file

Once you have deleted Entitlementdatastore.ecml file. You can restart QuickBooks. It should work properly.

The reason of Delete the Entitlementdatastore.ecml file that it was corrupted. After sometime we restart QuickBooks it would create a new file which would be error free and your QuickBooks should work perfectly fine.
