Solution 1

By checking whether the setup file is encrypted or not

  1. Search the setup file and right-click on it.
  2. Select the properties’ option from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click on “Advanced” in the attribute header on the new window opened.
  4. Now make sure to uncheck ‘Encrypt contents to secure data’ which is under ‘Compress or Encrypt Attributes’.
  5. Close all the windows.
  6. Try to reinstall the software again.

  1. By adding system user in the installer
  2. Select the installer file.
  3. Right-click on it and choose ‘properties’ option from the drop-down menu.
  4. Go to the security tab and select the edit option.
  5. Under group or user name press Add and type in ’SYSTEM’ in CAPS.
  6. Click OK.

Solution 3

By adding an installer folder in Windows directory

  1. Open that partition which includes your operating system.
  2. Go to the Windows folder which is inside.
  3. Right-click and choose the option of the New folder from the drop-down menu.
  4. Name that folder as ‘Installer’ and save it.
  5. Restart your system and try to install the software again.

  5. Type ‘msiexec/regserver’

  1. Go to Start>Run>, type “services.msc”
  2. Press Enter button
  3. Double click on service named ”Windows Installer “
  4. Check the value in the “Startup type:” field. If it is “Disabled” then there is no problem.
  5. Change it to Manual from the drop-down box.

Solution 3

Empty user and system temp folder

  1. Empty” %systemdrive%\temp” folder
  2. % Empty” %systemdrive%\windir%\temp” folder.
  3. Empty” %systemdrive%\Documents and Settings \%username%\Local Settings\Temp”.

Before installing the program if possible please run the Windows Cleanup Utility and uninstall any partial installation of the program which you are planning to install.
